Developmental Positioning Packs
Make Developmental Care the Standard for Every Baby

Developmental Positioning Packs bundle a combination of positioning products into one cost-effective pack to help promote consistency and continuity of care for all babies in the NICU. Each baby, depending on admission weight, receives a pack which is appropriate for his or her developmental needs. Having all the developmental products together saves time for the caregiver, saves money by reducing the number of items in inventory and helps promote a standard of care for all babies.

There are two ways to purchase the packs:

Customized Positioning Packs

• Must be purchased by the case (six packs per case)
• Minimum of four products required
• Packaged in a clear plastic bag, but can also be purchased packaged in a reusable laundry bag or Tiny Tub.

Standard Positioning Packs

• Must be purchased by the case (six packs per case)
• No substitutions
• Packaged in a reusable laundry bag

Standard Positioning Packs come in four sizes based on the infant’s weight. Each one is prepackaged in a laundry bag. Minimum purchase is one case (six packs of one size per case). No substitutions are available.

Infants <1000g

• Two SnuggleUps – extra small and small
• One Baby Bendy with an additional cloth cover
• One extra small Gel-E Donut with two disposable covers
• Two sleeves of WeePee Three diapers (30 diapers in each sleeve)
• One Wee Thumbie pacifier
• One pad of Developmental Care Forms

Infants 1000-1500g

• Two SnuggleUps – small and medium
• One Bendy Bumper with an additional cloth cover
• One extra small Gel-E Donut with two disposable covers
• Two sleeves of WeePee Three diapers (30 diapers in each sleeve)
• One Wee Thumbie pacifier
• One pad of Developmental Care Forms

Infants 1500-2000g

• Two SnuggleUps – medium and large
• One Bendy Bumper with an additional cloth cover
• One small Gel-E Donut with two disposable covers
• Two sleeves of WeePee Three diapers (30 diapers in each sleeve)
• One Wee Soothie pacifier
• One pad of Developmental Care Forms

Infants >2000g

• One SnuggleUp – large
• One Bendy Bumper with an additional cloth cover
• One small Gel-E Donut with two disposable covers
• Two sleeves of WeePee Three diapers (30 diapers in each sleeve)
• One Soothie pacifier
• One pad of Developmental Care Forms Standard Positioning Packs
